THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NATYAM (C Zackey) was stubborn to load. b) ETIQUETTE (*S Sosibo) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ETIQUETTE (*S Sosibo) threw its head down as the start was effected and as a result this gelding lost ground to the field. b) Shortly before the finish INDLAMU (S Khumalo) and NATYAM (C Zackey) came together and brushed. c) Jockey M Yeni reported that LITTLEMARYSUNSHINE took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performances of ROYAL GUIDE (S Veale) (5.20 lengths, 9/2 in the betting) and ETIQUETTE (*S Sosibo) (10.00 lengths, 50/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Assistant Trainer J Buckler acting on behalf of Trainer G S Kotzen signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 8.3.1, in that he failed to ensure that the owner's colours were available for the horse LAST ONE STANDING.
