THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls SWEET REUNION (T Godden) which was slow into stride was brushed out by PERFECTLY PICKED (S Moodley) which jumped out. Thereafter PERFECTLY PICKED (S Moodley) over-raced in the early stages. b) OH MANDY (C Zackey) hung in between the 400m and the 200m. In view of the performance of this filly (18.00 lengths, 28/10 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) GRAND OCCASION (R A Venniker) shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. d) QONDANEKUKHANYENI (A Mgudlwa), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
