THE STARTER REPORTED: a) POETS WARRIOR (C Zackey) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) THUNEE PLAYA (K A Brewer) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, IMPERIAL MASTER (J R Syster) was brushed in by POETS WARRIOR (C Zackey), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) SUGAR BLAST (C Habib) and FLYING BULL (G Lerena) commenced to give ground to the field from the 300m. c) Approaching the 200m, STREWN SKY (S Khumalo) and THUNEE PLAYA (K A Brewer) were carried in by IMPERIAL MASTER (J R Syster), which shifted in away from the crop and was corrected. d) THUNEE PLAYA (K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
