THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MASTER INCOLOR (+B Thwalani) jumped outwards b) COTONOU (+B Ncwadi) jumped awkwardly with its head up. c) PAPILLON BLUE (+MP Njengele) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The start of this race was delayed as the course Medical Officer had not arrived on course timeously. b) Shortly after the start DAWN TILL DUSK (+L Burke) took an awkward stride when bumped heavily by SPARE (+SH Feni), which shifted out sharply and was immediately corrected. c) At the 700m FENCING CAPTAIN (+M Mjokwa) commenced to over race and was directed outwards away from the heels of ELSINORE (+S Sawutana). d) Work Rider B Thwalani was charged with a contravention of Racing Operators Condition 2.1.14, read in conjunction with the Conditions of this race, in that he used his crop on MASTER INCOLOR without having both hands on the reins. Work Rider B Thwalani signed an admission of guilt and was suspended for 1 (one) Work Rider's race. (dates to be advised) e) Work Rider B Ncwadi was charged with a contravention of Racing Operators Condition 2.1.14, read in conjunction with the Conditions of this race, in that he used his crop on COTONOU without having both hands on the reins.
