SHABBA RANKS (R Munger) and STREET FLYER (AUS) (D L Habib) were slow into stride.CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (C Zackey) jumped outwards leaving the stalls.At the 1000m, MAMBO SYMPHONY was carried out by TOP RANK (M van Rensburg) which commenced to over-race and had to switch out to avoid running onto the heels of AUGUST RAIN (S Khumalo).At the approximately the 800m, OYSTER KING (C Murray) clipped the heels of ATOMIC BLONDE (W Kennedy) which shifted out sharply.Thereafter approaching the 600m, ATOMIC BLONDE shifted out sharply again. Taking into consideration this colt's previous history with regards to shifting in races, Assistant Trainer T Peter was advised to take the necessary corrective measures to improve ATOMIC BLONDE's racing manners.Assistant Trainer Peter advised the Board that it is his intention to geld ATOMIC BLONDE.RIVER JORDAN (*D Schwarz),the winner,was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer E Lerena advised.MAMBO SYMPHONY raced without cheek pieces and equipped with ear muffs.ATOMIC BLONDE raced equipped with blinkers.STREET FLYER (AUS) raced without blinkers scratched:THERAVADA bruised left front hoof.
