THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GLOBAL ZEE (J Gates) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer P P Labuschagne to be advised. b) HUEHUETENANGO (P Strydom) was slow losing three lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer A Azzie was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (GT). c) SOLAR SAIL (J Penny) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) After viewing the patrol film of the start and in particular the racing manners of HUEHUETENANGO (P Strydom), it was established that he appeared to be above himself as the start was effected. Thereafter, this colt was slow losing three lengths, refused to gallop and trailed the field throughout. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GLOBAL ZEE, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion on two (2) consecutive race days. Suspension dates: 25 September 2024 to 1 October 2024. GLOBAL ZEE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer P P Labuschagne to be advised. c) COUNT INVICTO (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) GLOBAL ZEE was carded raced with a tongue tie on (declared 19 September 2024 at 09H18). THE VETERINARY SURGEON HAD NO REPORTS.
