WHAT A KID (T Godden) and PAY THE PUNTERS (N Juglall) lost 1 length, respectively.HAN SOLO (A Marcus) shifted out to obtain a clear run at the 400m.BAYVIEW EXPRESS (B Jacobson) shifted in to continue its run at the 400m. Thereafter, at the 200m this colt shifted out away from the crop. Apprentice L Ferraris the rider of GO DADDY (33.40 lengths) reported that this colt changed stride continually in the running.The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.Jockey B Jacobson signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2,in that he struck the horse BAYVIEW EXPRESS more than 12 times in the entire race.The Board in determining the penalty, considered Jockey Jacobson's record with regard to contraventions of this Rule as well as well as the manner in which he used his crop. Accordingly,a penalty of a fine of R750 was imposed.HAN SOLO (A Marcus) the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer J Buckler acting on behalf of Trainer G Kotzen advised.Apprentice D Schwarz replaced Jockey D Dillon on JUMPING CASTLE.Apprentice L Ferraris replaced Jockey S Randolph on GO DADDY.PAY THE PUNTERS raced with its tongue tied down.The veterinary surgeon reported:GO DADDY: Nothing obvious detected.
