THE STARTER REPORTED: a) IT'S HER WAY (M K Katjedi) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) EASY ON ME (G Lerena) and PLAY WITH FIRE (C Habib) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) As the start was effected, EASY ON ME (G Lerena) was bumped by IT'S HER WAY (M K Katjedi), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) Jockey G Lerena (EASY ON ME) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey G Lerena reported that EASY ON ME made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
