As the start was effected, CHECKPOINT CHARLIE (C Zackey) reared badly and thereafter refused to jump.The Starting Stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn.CUTTING EDGE (*N Klink) was slow losing one length.PETER THE WAILER (*J R Syster) was slow losing two lengths.OLOFBERG (D De Gouveia) was slow losing three lengths.Trainer C J Lensley was advised to re-school this gelding prior to his next engagement.As the start was effected,CHECKPOINT CHARLIE in stall gate 1 reared badly and was restrained by the Handler allocated to him.The Board, after reviewing the patrol film of the start, established that CHECKPOINT CHARLIE had been impeded by the Handler and declared this gelding to be a non-runner in terms of Rule 61.5.10.2.Jockey M Thackeray reported that he felt something amiss with SYLVAN SAINT in running.The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.In view of the Starter's report with regard to CHECKPOINT CHARLIE,this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable loading and jumping on terms from the stalls with a companion.Suspension dates:7January 2020 to 13 January 2020. CHECKPOINT CHARLIE may not be presented for repassing during this period.Trainer C J Lensley advised.OLOFBERG (D de Gouveia), the winner,was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
