THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) During the loading process BILINGUAL (R Danielson), GERBERA (C Zackey) and WINDS OF GRACE (*T Mayhew) became restless in the stalls. WINDS OF GRACE broke through the front of the stalls, dislodged Apprentice T Mayhew, bolted and was subsequently scratched by the course Veterinary Surgeon. In the interim, BILINGUAL (R Danielson) and GERBERA (C Zackey) were released from the stalls and examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon. GERBERA (C Zackey) was passed suitable to race. BILINGUAL (R Danielson) was subsequently withdrawn by the course Veterinary Surgeon, injured head. This caused a significant delay to the start of this race.
b) CYBER SPIRIT (N Klink) was stubborn loading and restless in the stalls.
c) HUBBLY BUBBLY (JR Syster) was restless in the stalls.
d) DUCHESS OF SEVILLE (K Matsunyane), CYBER SPIRIT (N Klink) and WINTER IN PARIS (C Maujean) jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) As the start was effected, HUBBLY BUBBLY (JR Syster) was bumped in by CYBER SPIRIT (N Klink), which jumped inwards.
b) CARS BIG AS BARS (G Lerena) was hanging in throughout.
c) WINTER IN PARIS (C Maujean) was hanging out from the 300m.
d) HUBBLY BUBBLY (JR Syster) raced green.
e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding BILINGUAL (R Danielson), GERBERA (C Zackey) and WINDS OF GRACE (*T Mayhew), Trainers SJ Gray, SG Tarry and M Azzie/A Azzie respectively have been advised to have these fillies re-schooled prior to their next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
e) CARS BIG AS BARS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. (MS)
