THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FULL GO (MK Katjedi) jumped slow, losing two lengths. b) VOLTE FACE (Wes Marwing) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) EYE CATCHING (N Klink) over raced in the early stages. b) Jockey P Strydom reported that PANNING GOLD did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey KA Brewer reported that ORDER OF HOPE took no interest in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) GUY ALEXANDER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer CJ Lensley was advised.
