THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DAVOS (S Hlengwa) was difficult to load. b) TRE UNO (J Jacobs) was stubborn to load. c) RICHARDTHEFEARLESS (M Thackeray) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) BRING THE MAGIC (A Mgudlwa) over-raced in the early stages. b) At the 1000m RICHARDTHEFEARLESS (M Thackeray) which commenced to over-race and was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of GIMMETHEGOODLIFE (M V'Rensburg). c) TRE UNO (J Jacobs) was hanging in from the 350m. d) At the 250m RAGNAR THE KING (C Habib) which was hanging in, had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of RICHARDTHEFEARLESS (M Thackeray) which shifted out sharply away from the crop and was immediately straightened. Thereafter, at the 150m RAGNAR THE KING (C Habib) was carried out marginally by RICHARDTHEFEARLESS (M Thackeray) which shifted both ways from the crop. e) DAPPER (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P V Lafferty advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) GIMMETHEGOODLIFE raced without pacifiers and without ear muffs (advised 12.10.2024/09h49). b) TRE UNO raced fitted with steel shoes and without alumites (advised 10.10.2024/09h15).
