MR MINISTER (S Moodley) lost one length.In the concluding stages, MR MINISTER (S Moodley) was disappointed for a clear run when awkwardly placed on the heels of ODE (*T Gumede) and GINGER BISUIT (K de Melo).Assistant Trainer B Forster acting on behalf of Trainer A Nel appeared before the Board and was questioned regarding the poor performance of VASE (W Kennedy) on 29 November 2019.In this regard he explained to the board that, VASE was at its best when leading in a race and dictating its own pace.However, in this mare's last run, VASE was unable to obtain the lead position, as it did today.It was Assistant Trainer Forster's opinion that, this was the reason for VASE's poor last run.The Board noted the explanation of Assistant Trainer B Forster which was corroborated by the form of VASE.VASE (W Kennedy),the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Assistant Trainer B Forster acting for Trainer A Nel advised.The veterinary surgeon reported KAYDEN'S BULLET:Speedy cut left fore.Scratchings FLEEK:Abnormal blood count.
