Thereafter, MAXIGIRL (L Mxothwa) shifted outwards away from the crop and carried BEIJING BOULEVARD (M Yeni) outwards slightly. d) GLOBAL SCENE (C Maujean) returned with a unilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr M Bawden) e) Jockey C Habib reported that KAROO BOKKIE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables. f) Trainer Z Oosthuizen was charged with a contravention of Rule 39.7.5 in that he failed to vaccinate PEARLY ASH against Equine Influenza in accordance with the program of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. Trainer Oosthuizen signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000.00. g) VOORSMAAKIE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WGC Miller was advised.
