THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PRINCESS CHARMER (*K J Lihaba) was stubborn to load. Trainer W Whitehead will be advised to re-school this filly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) MISSISSIPPI SPICE (R A Venniker) and FLYING REIGN STORM (S Moodley) came together and brushed on two occasions shortly after the start. b) FLYING REIGN STORM (S Moodley) over-raced in the early and middle stages, proving difficult to settle. c) TAKATALVI (S Hlengwa) hung in from the 350m. d) Jockeys A Mgudlwa (MISS MAYFLY) and C F Dicken (CUPID'S WAY) reported that their respective mounts took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) MISSISSIPPI SPICE (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
