THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of PRESLEY (C Habib), (distance 4,50 lengths, betting 11/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) In view of the performance of ZUZAN (J Penny), (distance 9,65 lengths, betting 33/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) SUGAR BLAST (C Maujean), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A P Peter advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) QUATERMAIN was ridden by Jockey K A Brewer (declared 4 November 2024 at 07H06). Trainer R Klaasen was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.1 in that she failed to declare a rider for QUATERMAIN at the time of final acceptances.
