In view of the performance of MY SISTER JILL, which was hanging out in the latter stages, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Leaving the 400m, a tiring AFTER DARK had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of BOLD DIVA, which shifted out to obtain a clear run. Thereafter Jockey Juglall did not persevere with his riding of AFTER DARK in the latter stages. Jockey Lerena appeared before the Board and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. BOLD DIVA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The ownership of HALLIBERRY to read: Mr A C Peter; and the Colours are: Silver, red crossed sashes, collar, cuffs and cap. Vet: AFTER DARK and MY SISTER JILL - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: ARION EXPRESS - under medication.
