The NHA confirms that its officials conducted stable visits and inspected horses that will be participating at the Kenilworth Race meeting on 11th January 2020. During the course of this race meeting, horses paraded up until or just past the area of the winners' enclosure where a boom camera and hospitality tent were situated. APACHE GIRL jumped slow, losing three lengths. ASHANTI jumped slow, losing one length. CYBER BLOSSOM cast her left front shoe on the way to the start. CYBER BLOSSOM cast her left front shoe while proceeding to the start, which the farrier had to replace, causing a delay. TO DO RON RON was reluctant to proceed to the start and had to be led by the handler. Trainer Botha was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future engagements, she may be suspended. Shortly after the start, CYBER BLOSSOM was bumped outwards by TO DO RON RON, which jumped awkwardly. At the 200m, SNOWDROPS had to switch outwards to avoid the heels of ASHANTI, which was hanging in and shifted in. LILAC SENSATION and BAD HABIT were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
