THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAT'S LADY (K A Brewer) refused to jump. b) FREE IN SEATTLE (M K Katjedi) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) RED KNOT (K Matsunyane) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) HAT'S LADY (K A Brewer) stood and lost considerable ground to the field as the start was effected. As this filly was unable to make up the deficit, she raced detached from the field for the duration of the race. This filly is suspended in terms of Rule 93.2.4, until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion on a race day. Assistant Trainer W Marwing, acting on behalf of Trainer W H Marwing, was advised (GF). b) ANGEL'S WISH (*T Mayhew) hung in from the 300m. c) TREE FAIRY (R Danielson) commenced to give to ground the field from the 150m. d) FETCHING FLYER (P Mxoli), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
