THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DIMAKO'S JET (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) FULL GO (M K Katjedi) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LEAO ALADO (D De Gouveia) commenced to give ground to the field from the 250m. Thereafter, Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Leaving the 200m, CIRCLE OF GRACE (M van Rensburg), which rolled in was carried out by DIMAKO'S JET (G Lerena), which shifted out away from the crop and was corrected. c) DIMAKO'S JET (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
