THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ISIPHITHIPHITHI (S Sosibo) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) TAKATALVI (S Hlengwa) did not parade in front of the grandstand. Trainer G Puller was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in the future, it may be suspended (DM). b) ISIPHITHIPHITHI (S Sosibo) and ZALTA STAR (S Moodley) made contact on two occasions shortly after the start. c) An Inquiry will be opened to establish why ISIPHITHIPHITHI (S Sosibo) clipped the heels of ZALTA STAR (S Moodley) at the 1400m. d) TAKATALVI (S Hlengwa) hung in from the 350m. e) Jockey M Thackeray reported that LONG STREET made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running.
