The start of this race was delayed due to the reason stated in the Starters' report below. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HAPPY ANALIA (M V'Rensburg) was stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Leaving the starting stalls DYNASTY'S LAST (C Maujean) was brushed in by HAPPY ANALIA (M V'Rensburg) which jumped in. b) At the 1100m DYNASTY'S LAST (C Maujean) was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of COPACABANA (R A Venniker). c) DYNASTY'S LAST (C Maujean) hung out from the 200m. d) In view of the performance of COPACABANA (R A Venniker) (5.30 lengths, 16/1 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to HAPPY ANALIA (M V'Rensburg), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. (Suspension dates: 18.11.2024 to the 24.11.2024). HAPPY ANALIA may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
