THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STOP THE TRAFFIC (K Matsunyane) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this colt has been withdrawn. Trainer C J Lensley was advised (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MAJALUN (D De Gouveia) was eased out of the race from the 500m. Thereafter, Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with this colt in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to STOP THE TRAFFIC, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 29 November 2024 to 3 December 2024. STOP THE TRAFFIC may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer C J Lensley was advised. c) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning LADY FORTEZZA, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer M N Houdalakis was advised. d) JOOST DROOCHSLOOT (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) DYLAN'S CHAMP: Jockey P Strydom weighed out at 58,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None.
