The start of this race was delayed to allow the betting public time to restructure their bets after the late Veterinary scratching of VIHAAN'S WEB (M V'Rensburg) at the start. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE GLIDING FISH (C Zackey) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) APEX PREDATOR (S Hlengwa) and WINTER GAMES (A Mgudlwa) came together and brushed on a number of occasions between the 400m and the 200m.
