THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALL ME MASTER (G Lerena) was stubborn loading. b) BOB LEE SWAGGER (*T Mayhew) was restless in the stalls and jumped slow, losing five lengths. c) SOUTHERN STYLE (J Penny) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The Stewards reviewed the start with regards to BOB LEE SWAGGER in stall gate 4 and established that this gelding had been restless inside the barrier, had been impeded by the Handler allocated to him when he attempted to settle him down and therefore jumped slow, losing 5 lengths. The Stipendiary Stewards, acting in terms of Rule 61.5.10.2, declared BOB LEE SWAGGER to be a non-runner. In view of this report regarding BOB LEE SWAGGER (*T Mayhew), Trainer C Mayhew will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding CALL ME MASTER (G Lerena), Trainer RR Sage will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. c) CALL ME MASTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
