THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LADY ZULTANITE (S Khathi) and BELOW DECK (R Fourie) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) DARLING HARBOUR (D Schwarz) was bumped out by MILLENNIUM DANCER (DB Geerthsen), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) LADY ZULTANITE (S Khathi) and BELOW DECK (R Fourie) bumped shortly after the start. c) BLUE PALACE (C Maujean) jumped a shadow and thereafter had to be steadied when cramped for galloping room between the inside running rail and CANFORD QUEEN (E Webber), which was carried inwards by BURN BRIGHT (K Minnie), which shifted inwards at approximately the 1800m. Jockey K Minnie was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of BURN BRIGHT he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to BLUE PALACE and CANFORD QUEEN when he shifted in at the 1800m. Jockey K Minnie signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. (Dates: 11/01/2025 to 17/01/2025, both dates inclusive) d) BELOW DECK (R Fourie) over raced in the early and middle stages. e) FLIGHT DISPLAY (C Zackey) shifted outwards a significant amount of ground away from the crop from the 200m. f) FLIGHT DISPLAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer DG Smith, acting on behalf of Trainer GD Smith, was advised.
