THE STARTER REPORTED: a) UNITED COUNCIL (G Lerena) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 2000m, DAMOVA (M K Katjedi) was carried out by PATCHES OF GREY (P Mxoli), which shifted out when crossing the junction. b) At approximately the 200m, UNITED COUNCIL (G Lerena) was steadied momentarily when awkwardly placed between MY SOUL MATE (R Danielson), which rolled out, and LITTLEMARYSUNSHINE (C Zackey), which hung in from the 300m. c) In view of the performance of DAMOVA (M K Katjedi), (distance 11,10 lengths, betting 9/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) Jockey R Munger reported that FLAMBOYANT FLYER did not stride out freely in running.
