The start of this race was delayed due to an over-reach boot having to be removed from the course at the 100m. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NOBLE BLUE (R A Venniker) stood, losing 4 lengths. b) TWICEASCORE (D Schwarz) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) SHESAROCKET (S Veale) and LIGHTINTHEDARKNESS (S Moodley) came together and bumped shortly after the start. b) Leaving the starting stalls ROY'S GRACE (R Danielson) which was slow into stride was bumped by KESARI (T Godden), which jumped out. c) ROY'S GRACE (R Danielson) hung in from the 300m. d) TWICEASCORE (D Schwarz) hung in from the 200m. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to NOBLE BLUE (R A Venniker), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 30.01.2025 to the 05.02.2025. NOBLE BLUE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D S Bosch was advised. (SN) f) Jockey C Zackey signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 59.3 in that as the rider of DIAMOND DASH, he failed to weigh in with his girth after the running of Race 1.
