THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DESTINY OF FIRE (G Lerena) was stubborn loading and thereafter slow, losing three lengths. Assistant Trainer P Dlhamini, acting on behalf of Trainers M/M de Kock, was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) A race review was called into the start of the race regarding DESTINY OF FIRE (G Lerena), in stall gate 5, the Stipendiary Board, after reviewing the start, was satisfied that the Handler had released this filly timeously and that DESTINY OF FIRE (G Lerena) received a fair start and took no further action regarding the race review. b) Leaving the 200m, PARTY PUNCH (P Mxoli) was carried in by GERBERA (C Zackey), which rolled inwards. c) In the concluding stages, DESTINY OF FIRE (G Lerena) was carried out marginally by GERBERA (C Zackey), which shifted out away marginally from the crop d) Jockey G Lerena reported that DESTINY OF FIRE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) Jockey D De Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with VISIONOFPEACE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) GERBERA (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MS).
