MOODIES WELL (C Habib) was slow into stride.ABDUL (D De Gouveia) lost one length.TOMMY TIGER (N Juglall) and ENRIQUE (W Kennedy) were stubborn loading.MOODIES WELL (C Habib) over-raced in the middle stages and thereafter Jockey Habib reported that MOODIES WELL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.At approximately the 600m, DUKE'S GAME (Wes Marwing) had to steady when awkwardly placed between GIANT'S GARDEN (D R Lerena) which rolled out and ENRIQUE (W Kennedy) which rolled in.MAGIC DUKE (C Zackey) shifted out away from the crop from the 400m to the 300m and thereafter hung out to the finish.ENRIQUE (W Kennedy),the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.Trainer C Dawson advised.MOODIES WELL was ridden by Jockey C Habib (Jockey C Murray - transport problems).METRIC raced with a cornell collar.MAGIC DUKE is a gelding, incorrectly carded.IN BUSSUM raced with club colours (blue and black).Trainer C E Erasmus was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he did not have available the registered colours of the owner/s of the horse IN BUSSUM.Trainer Erasmus signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R250 was imposed.GIANT'S GARDEN raced with a tongue tie on,MASTER MOUNT raced equipped with alumites.The veterinary surgeon reported:MOODIES WELL blowing post race.Scratched:BEND THE KNEE pulled muscle.
