En-route to the start, THE BEE EFF GEE lifted its left front shoe which was attended to by the course farrier.Thereafter during the loading process THE BEE EFF GEE kicked the back gates,was removed from the stalls,examined by the course veterinary surgeon,passed fit to race and reloaded.These incidents caused a delay to the start of this race.THE ROCKETMAN(AUS)(N Juglall)and DARKEST HOUR(R Danielson) were slow losing one length.LASAIR (C Bantam) over-raced in the early stages.Jockey C Zackey reported that THE BEE EFF GEE took no interest in running.The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.JACKMAN (S Khumalo)compounded from the 300m.CAPETOWN AFFAIR (*T Juglall) the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.Trainer A B Fortune advised. WAQAAS (AUS)(C Murray), placed second, was selectected for the taking of specimens for analysis.Trainer F P Habib advised.FLATTLEY raced without blinkers and equipped with cheek pieces.THE BEE EFF GEE Jockey C Zackey weighed out at 55,4kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.GENEROSO Jockey D Schwarz weighed out at 54,1kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.IN THE GAME Jockey D De Gouveia weighed out at 54,3kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.The veterinary surgeon Reported:THE BEE EFF GEE examined post race, nothing obvious detected.REVELATION abnormal respiratory noise.
