The start of this race was delayed due to the reasons started in the Starters report below.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) PRINCEESS CHARMER (S Moodley) refused to load and was subsequently withdrawn.
b) During the loading process SHEEZAROCKET (A Mgudlwa) became restless in the stalls. This filly was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and subsequently withdrawn.
c) GLORIOUS BUTTERFLY (R A Venniker) lost 1 length.
d) SEEKING SPACE (*J Botes) was slow into stride, losing 2 lengths.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PRINCESS CHARMER (S Moodley), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 25.02.2025 to the 03.03.2025. PRINCESS CHARMER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer W Whitehead was advised. (TM)
