THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZENOBIA'S GOLD (J R Syster) refused to jump and thereafter refused to gallop. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer S G Tarry was advised (GT). b) KURAMATHI (P Mxoli) was slow losing three lengths. Assistant Trainer N Titise, acting on behalf of Trainer S T Pettigrew, was advised to reschool this filly prior to her next engagement (GT). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In view of the performance of GODSPEED (G Lerena), (distance 7,15 lengths, betting 11/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. b) In view of the performance of JUST BE NICE (C Maujean), (distance 17,00 lengths, betting 40/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ZENOBIA'S GOLD (J R Syster), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until she proves tractable jumping and galloping from the starting stalls with a companion on a race day. Trainer S G Tarry advised (GT). d) JUNIPER GREEN (R Munger), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
