AT THE OFFICE was slow losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. KURSK (AUS) and SUPERBUS were slow into stride. BILLY NO MATES jumped outwards. In view of the performance from MARY MOON, which quickly gave ground to the field from the 400m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Orffer, which over raced in the early stages, reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding on his return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. SAINT PHILIP raced wide in the early stages. Between the 300m and the 150m KURSK (AUS) and SAINT PHILIP brushed on a number of occasions when SAINT PHILIP, which was hanging out and proved difficult to assist, shifted out. DAY TRIP was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. KURSK (AUS) raced without ear muffs. Vet: MARY MOON - returned blowing and fatigued. KURSK (AUS) - returned not striding out. Scratched: QUIERA - insufficient recovery time.
