THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, FETCHING FLYER (P Mxoli) kicked the back gates resulting in COCOMELON (S Moodley) breaking through the front gate. COCOMELON was restrained by Jockey S Moodley, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded b) RUBY REBEL (Wes Marwing) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer P F Matchett was advised (GT). c) SILVER PARASOL (K Matsunyane) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this Filly has been withdrawn. Trainer A G Laird was advised (GT). d) KEY WORKER (J R Syster) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) LADY SABRINA (*K J Lihaba) hung out from the 400m. b) In view of the performance of QUEEN OF LOVE (R Munger), (distance 8,25 lengths, betting 33/10), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to RUBY REBEL (Wes Marwing), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 9 March 2025 to 15 March 2025. RUBY REBEL may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer P F Matchett was advised. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SILVER PARASOL ( K Matsunyane), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 9 March 2025 to 15 March 2025. SILVER PARASOL may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
