THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CUTBACK was stubborn loading and once the gates opened, refused to jump and veered sharply behind the stalls. The starting stalls certificate for this mare has been withdrawn. She is suspended until recertified tractable on a raceday with a companion around the turn to the finish. Trainer T Mason advised. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BRUCE'S SPIRIT (N Klink) was hanging in and had to be steadied momentarily off the heels of KARVANI (D Daniels) which shifted out slightly in the concluding stages. b) KARVANI (D Daniels), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
