THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ALONE TIME (M Yeni) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Approaching the 300m, ORIENTAL BOUQUET (C Maujean), which was directed in off the heels of ALONE TIME (M Yeni), was severely unbalanced and checked when bumped out by SUPER AWESOME (G Lerena), which in turn was brushed out by TWICE AS WILD (N Klink), which rolled out. The Board after reviewing this incident, was of the opinion that blame could not be apportioned to any individual rider and deemed this to be a racing incident b) Jockey P Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with BEAMONESQUE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) SUPER AWESOME (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee J Dhlamini, acting on behalf of Trainer R R Magner, was advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ALONE TIME was ridden by Jockey M Yeni (declared 25 March 2025 at 14H37). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) BEAMONESQUE examined post race, nothing obvious detected. b) WESTERN WISHES mild post race distress. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
