The start of this race was delayed due to the reason stated in the Starters' report below. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COWDRAY PARK (R A Venniker) refused to load and was subsequently scratched. b) WINDOW TO MY SOUL (A Mgudlwa) lost 1 length. c) THAT'S ALL BROTHER (C Habib) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GRAND FORCE (S Hlengwa) over-raced in the early stages and thereafter hung in from the 350m. b) Jockey J Jacobs's (CATAVAR) goggles and colours cap became dislodged at the 300m. c) CATAVAR (J Jacobs) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 150m. d) Jockey C Habib reported that THAT'S ALL BROTHER took no interest in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to COWDRAY PARK (R A Venniker), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 01.04.2025 to the 07.04.2025. COWDRAY PARK may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M L Roberts was advised.
