THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PANNING SILVER (*G Dookhit) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) INSPECTOR JAMES (S Khumalo), MISS TAKES (K Matsunyane) and FORCE PUBLIQUE (M van Rensburg) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, ALESIAN BEAU (M Yeni) was bumped out by MISS TAKES (K Matsunyane), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) In the concluding stages, INSPECTOR JAMES (S Khumalo) was carried out and steadied when awkwardly placed on the outside of KAALVOET (C Habib), which shifted out away from the crop from the 150m. Jockey C Habib (KAALVOET) appeared before the Board and was advised to take the necessary corrective measures sooner to keep his mounts straight in races. c) KAALVOET (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Naude, acting on behalf of Trainer C Binda, was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) KAALVOET raced unshod (declared 11 April 2025 at 07H34). b) ASIAN DELIGHT raced equipped with alumites (declared 11 April 2025 at 08H19). c) SYLVAN WARRIOR raced with club colours (black with a blue cap). Trainer A P Peter was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he did not have available the registered colours of the owner/s of SYLVAN WARRIOR. Stable Employee M Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer A P Peter, signed an Admission of Guilt and a fine of R250 was imposed. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) SYLVAN WARRIOR mouth injury. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
