THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GLASTONBURY (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls. b) MALIBU (C Zackey) stumbled leaving the stalls. c) RED CARAMEL (J Gates) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MALIBU (C Zackey) took an awkward stride at the 300m. b) TINA LOVELACE (S Khumalo) shifted out away from the crop from the 300m and commenced to hang out in the concluding stages. c) In view of the performance of RED CARAMEL (J Gates), (distance 23,00 lengths, betting 100/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with TINA LOVELACE in running.
