THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PORRIDGE BOY (S Khumalo) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, VANAKKAM (J Gates) was bumped out by PORRIDGE BOY (S Khumalo), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) At approximately the 400m, PORRIDGE BOY (S Khumalo) was brushed in on two occasions by VANAKKAM (J Gates), which hung in throughout. c) Jockey G Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with KING HARALD in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. d) GREEN DIAMOND (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S G Tarry advised (MduP).
