THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In the concluding stages SYMPHONY IN WHITE (D De Gouveia) and DISTING (C F Dicken) came together and brushed. b) In the concluding stages MAI SENSATION (J P v'd Merwe) was brushed by SYMPHONY IN WHITE (D De Gouveia) which shifted in away from the crop and was immediately corrected. c) Shortly before the finish Jockey S Veale (ASIYE PHAMBILI) dropped his left side rein which he was unable to re-gather. d) FRANCINE (G Lerena) was not persevered with from the 600m and thereafter Jockey Lerena reported that this filly took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockeys R Danielson (ROCCAPINA), A Mgudlwa (PRITTI VICTORY) and C Zackey (GIMMIE'S COUNTESS) reported that they felt something amiss in the running with their respective mounts. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning ROCCAPINA, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this filly is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. (Suspension dates : 28.04.2025 - 26.06.2025 bdi). Assistant Trainer T Fripp acting on behalf of Trainer C Bass-Robinson was advised (RC). g) MAI SENSATION (J P v'd Merwe), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L V Woodruff was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) ROCCAPINA : Bilateral Epistaxis confirmed. 60 day suspension recommended. b) FRANCINE : Nothing obvious detected. c) DISTING : Nose injury. d) PRITTI VICTORY : Coughing. e) GIMMIE'S COUNTESS : Coughing. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS : DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER : a) None.
