THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MY EYES NEVER LIE (C Zackey) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) SNOW QUEEN (R Danielson) hung in in the concluding stages. b) In the concluding stages, VERSACE ONTHETRACK (S Khumalo) shifted in away from the crop. c) In the concluding stages, WINGS OF ICE (C Maujean) became unbalanced when bumped in by RACEWAY (M Yeni), which shifted in away from the crop. As a consequence, HAWKSDALE (G Lerena) had to steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of WINGS OF ICE (C Maujean). A race review was called into this incident by a member of the Stipendiary Board and after reviewing the footage from the various angles, he was of the opinion that this incident had not affected the result of the race and took no further action. An inquiry will be opened into Jockey M Yeni's (RACEWAY) ride in the concluding stages. d) In the pull-up area SNOW QUEEN stumbled, which resulted in Jockey R Danielson being dislodged. e) VERSACE ONTHETRACK (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) CHERICHERILADY was ridden by Jockey C Habib (declared 1 May April 2025 at 12H15). Stipes permission as Jockey A Fortune experienced flight complications. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) RACEWAY scalp wound left hind.
