THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FACILE (E Webber) was stubborn loading. b) STRATA (R Fourie) jumped awkwardly. c) MS PATTY (C Zackey), SHARAPOVA (S Khumalo) and GREENLIGHT DANCER (J Gates) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey C Maujean reported that KILMONIVAIG, which was hanging in from the 500m and was corrected at the 200m was not striding out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. b) HAVANA GREY (A Fortune) was hanging in from approximately the 400m and was corrected at the 200m. c) Jockey E Webber reported that FACILE compounded in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of STRANGE MAGIC (M Yeni), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. e) In view of the performance of ULTIMISSIMO (C Habib), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
