THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1200m, ARUMUGAM (P Mxoli) was carried out marginally by MISS SCALETTA (*N Nastili), which commenced to over-race and shifted out marginally to avoid running onto the heels of PARISIAN WALKWAY (*G Samo-Burthia). b) In view of the performance of ARUMUGAM (P Mxoli), (distance 4,00 lengths, betting 40/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) NAVAJO NATION (*K J Lihaba), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
