THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUELLO CHE (K Matsunyane) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) DENIM BLUE (*G Samo-Burthia) over-raced in the early and middle stages and commenced to give ground to the field from the 600m. Thereafter, Apprentice G Samo-Burthia reported that this filly did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) PASS THE BATON (M K Katjedi) raced wide around the turn and into the straight and thereafter tired in the concluding stages. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) ARTIC SILVER (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
