THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) LILAC IN WINTER dislodged Jockey C Orffer without incident while proceeding to the start, was taken in hand, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race.
b) VIXENS WAR (R Fourie) was fractious loading, kicked and had to be hooded.
c) CHICKASAW (G Wright) jumped slow, losing four lengths.
d) MEGHAN'S DIAMOND (L Mxothwa) and KEEP WARM (O Noach) jumped slow, losing one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) VIXENS WAR (R Fourie), which raced green, was steadied momentarily off the heels of MEGHAN'S DIAMOND (L Mxothwa) at approximately the 400m.
b) Leaving the 400m CRAZY LITTLE THING (*S Bungane) had to be directed outwards away from the heels of MEGHAN'S DIAMOND (L Mxothwa).
c) MORFELIHA (M Yeni) raced green.
d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding VIXENS WAR (R Fourie), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 26/05/2025 to 01/06/2025 inclusive) VIXENS WAR may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding CHICKASAW (G Wright), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 26/05/2025 to 01/06/2025 inclusive) CHICKASAW may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
f) INSIDE VOICE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised. (SC)
