MOHICAN (ARG) was restless and kicked the back gate, thereafter jumped inwards leaving the stalls. CORNISH POMODORO shifted in away from the crop from the 200m. In view of the performance from SPERO OPTIMA, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer de Kock was requested to report back on the condition of SPERO OPTIMA on return to stables. In view of the performance from MOHICAN (ARG), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. GREEN LASER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SPERO OPTIMA - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected. GREEN LASER - cut into left hind. MOHICAN (ARG) - not striding out right front.
