THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) COPPOLA (J Penny) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) IDEAL FUTURE (*N Nastili) was slow losing one length. c) FULL GO (M K Katjedi) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer B B Ruiters was advised. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) CHABAL (M Yeni) hung in from the 300m. b) HEARTS ON FIRE (C Zackey), after racing prominently throughout, tired badly from the 200m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey M van Rensburg (GIMME PASSION) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey M van Rensburg reported that he felt something amiss with this filly in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of SPY STORY (J Gates), (distance 17,10 lengths, betting 25/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Race 5 contd. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to FULL GO, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 30 May 2025 to 5 June 2025. FULL GO may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer B B Ruiters was advised. f) ALADDIN'S LAMP (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Woodruff, acting on behalf of Trainers B/J Crawford, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) BLURRED VISION was ridden by Apprentice K J Lihaba (declared 29 May 2025 at 07H22). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) FUTUREWOLFF raced with a cornell collar (declared 24 February 2024).
