THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GOOD TRAVELLER (R Danielson) lost 4 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start BOURBON WARRIOR (M Yeni), AGRADO (S Moodley) and KING OF SPIN (C Habib) were hampered and squeezed out between UN BEL DI (G Lerena) and QUANDARY (A Mgudlwa) which jumped in leaving the stalls. b) KING OF SPIN (C Habib) hung in throughout. c) Leaving the 200m RIVERSTONE (N Patel) was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the heels of BOURBON WARRIOR (M Yeni) which hung in throughout and had come to the end of its run. Thereafter, at the 150m RIVERSTONE (N Patel) was eased when awkwardly placed between the heels of UN BEL DI (G Lerena) which hung in badly and shifted in from the 300m despite Jockey G Lerena's efforts to straighten his mount. When assessing this incident and after questioning both riders the Stewards determined that this incident was directly as a result of UN BEL DI (G Lerena) hanging in badly. Trainer J S Snaith will be advised to take the necessary measures to ensure that this gelding keeps to a straight course in future. d) VIHAAN'S WEB (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P Botha acting on behalf of Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MISS ARGONAUT raced equipped with ear muffs (advised 28.05.2025/08h10). b) ISIVIVANE raced without ear muffs (advised 29.05.2025/07h57).
